How does the editorial founder feature work?

A paid article about you as a founder, drawn from your own story and facts, edited and published on our site.

Updated

What you are buying

The editorial founder feature ($29) is a written article about the person behind your listing. We build it only from the story you give us, the details in your founder profile and the facts on your listing itself. An editor then checks and refines it before we publish. We invent nothing: if we cannot anchor a claim to something you told us, it does not go in.

What happens after you pay

We will email you the date by which to expect it: 3 working days after payment.

Once an editor starts reviewing it, we let you know. When it goes live, we send you the link by email.

Making it better

The more detail you share, the richer the piece reads. You can add to or change your founder story at /account/founder/story at any point before publication.

Where to get it

You will see the editorial founder feature offered as an option on the plan step in /submit, the same page where you add your listing. Check the Pricing page at /pricing to see the current cost.

Questions people ask

Can you change what the article says about me?
You can add or edit your founder story at /account/founder/story before the editor finishes. Anything you add becomes part of what we write from. The editor may refine it, but nothing is included that you did not tell us.
Where will the article appear?
Once published, it becomes your founder story on Business Listing Finder, marked 'Editor's feature'. It is also listed on /founders and included in our newsletter.
How long does it take?
The turnaround is 3 working days from the day you pay. We will email you the expected publish date and let you know when an editor begins reviewing it.
