NutriPet
Pet food checks, health logging, and reward-based training for dogs and cats
Mobile app for dog and cat owners to check pet food ingredients, plan portions, track health records, and practice reward-based training lessons.
About NutriPet

NutriPet is a mobile app that helps dog and cat owners make confident feeding choices and maintain health records. Users can scan pet food barcodes or ingredient labels, and NutriPet grades the ingredients and checks them against known pet toxins like xylitol, chocolate, grapes, onion, garlic, macadamia, and caffeine. The app estimates daily calories and portion sizes based on each pet's weight, life stage, and activity level, with adjustable meal splits and treat budgets.
Beyond food, NutriPet keeps a health log where owners can record meals, reactions, symptoms, activity, medication, vaccinations with due-date reminders, and weight. Scout, a built-in guide, answers food and feeding questions using the pet's profile and NutriPet's safety data for context, though it provides general guidance only and cannot diagnose or replace veterinary advice.
The app includes short, reward-based training lessons for dogs and cats covering everyday skills like meeting a marker and responding to their name. It features a clicker with adjustable sounds and saves each practice session. Owners can track multiple pets with separate profiles and share household access with family members. Most features require NutriPet Pro subscription, which includes cloud backup and PDF exports.
