Video on Business Listing Finder

On a paid launch, which has the full profile, videos play right on the listing. Free listings show the video section locked. You choose one main video; it goes at the top of the screenshots.

Links

Paste a YouTube link (normal, youtu.be, Shorts, embed or live), a Vimeo link (private ones work), or a Loom, Wistia, Vidyard, Dailymotion or TikTok link - or an .mp4/.webm on the company's own site. Not accepted: X/Twitter posts, playlists and channel links - the form explains why.

Where to change the video

Go to /account/listings and choose Edit for the listing. The Video section takes one link; we check it while you type and show the host's title, then you save. The Video card under Profile sections changes the same link and adds an optional title and description.

Each listing shows a single video. Swap it by saving another link; remove it by clearing the box or pressing Remove.

Viewing

Until play is pressed nothing loads from the host, so listings load fast and private; YouTube uses youtube-nocookie and Vimeo do-not-track. The video carries its title and description, its length and upload date if the host provides them, and a 'Watch on <site>' link.

Reach

The videos are the company's, and every site that lists the company shows them. The video also gets structured data, a place in the video sitemap and a mention in llms.txt, so search engines and AI assistants can find it.

Health checks

Weekly re-checks hide videos that are removed, private or not embeddable, email the owner once, and restore them automatically.
