About Coach12

Screenshot of the Coach12 homepage — Coach12: the homepage

Coach12 is a team management app for youth football and hockey teams. It automatically imports matches, recognizes school holidays, and fairly distributes volunteer tasks like match duties, transport and canteen shifts using an algorithm. The app tracks attendance, manages training schedules, and for trainers includes live match statistics and play time tracking.

The platform works across three roles: team managers see all matches, tasks and assignments at a glance; trainers can set formations, track live statistics and substitutions; parents and guardians receive invitations via a link and can confirm availability or decline tasks in seconds. All data stays minimal, EU-based servers are used, and information is automatically deleted 30 days after the season ends.

Coach12 works alongside club apps and WhatsApp rather than replacing them. It currently serves 45 youth teams in the Netherlands and automatically imports matches for most KNVB football teams and KNHB hockey clubs. For other sports or clubs, matches can be added manually in about 5 minutes per season.
