How long does it take to generate a story?

Usually 1-2 minutes start to finish, with about 80 seconds for shorter toddler and preschool stories and up to 2 minutes for older-reader books. The cover and first pages appear while the illustrations are still being painted, so you can start reading before the last page finishes.

Can I edit a story after it's made?

You can repaint any page from the reader; every book comes with 3 free repaints and you can add more in packs of 3 for $0.99. You can change the title and remove or add objects and animals, adjust camera angles, or request wide or close-up shots. You cannot add or remove people, swap the hero, write words into pictures, or add anything frightening.

What happens to the photos I upload?

Photos are stored encrypted and used only to draw your child in your books. They are never used to train any AI model, never sold, and never used for ads. Photos added while making a book are kept with that book so pages can be repainted later; photos saved to a child's profile stay there until you remove them or delete your account.

What is the refund policy?

Subscriptions can be refunded within 7 days for the unused portion of your billing cycle, and your account returns to free. One-time story purchases are not refundable once created. If a story fails to generate, Lumora refunds automatically. Hardcover books can be replaced free if they arrive damaged.
