Common questions

Is Fervu free?
Yes. There are no ads, no limit on groups, and no paid plan. Every feature including watch import, exporting your data, and unlimited groups is available to everyone.
Do I need a watch or smartband to use Fervu?
No. Manual logging takes just a few taps: exercise, day, and duration. If you have an Apple Watch, Garmin, Samsung, or any app that writes to Apple Health or Health Connect, you can import instead of typing.
How are points calculated in Fervu?
Each exercise has a MET (metabolic equivalent) value that measures effort relative to rest. Points come from MET ÷ 40 × minutes. For example, a 45-minute run at MET 8.5 is worth 9.6 points.
Does Fervu track my location or use GPS?
No. Fervu does not draw routes or measure where you have been. You enter the exercise, the day, and the duration—distance is optional and only counts in groups that score by kilometer.
How does the scoreboard work?
The scoreboard resets every week or every month depending on the group's setting. At the end of each cycle someone wins and gets a trophy on their profile, then the next cycle opens automatically. History of finished challenges is saved and the group maintains a champions ranking.
