About ProTag
ProTag is a QR tagging system designed for service contractors. When you install or service equipment, you place a weatherproof QR sticker on it. Customers or store managers can scan the sticker to see your company name, logo and dispatch number, then request service in one tap with the equipment and location already identified. Your technicians can scan the same sticker after signing in to access equipment specs, complete service history with photos, and the feed chain showing what powers the unit. The system helps contractors capture service calls that might otherwise go to competitors, while building a service record their techs can use on future visits.

Common questions
- Do my customers need an app?
- No. Any modern phone camera reads the QR code and opens a web page with your company name. There is nothing to install and no account to create.
- Can a competitor scan our tags and see our work?
- No. Anyone scanning without a signed-in account sees only your branded service request page. Service specs, history and the feed chain require an account on your company's ProTag.
- Will the stickers survive a rooftop?
- Print on outdoor rated vinyl or polyester label stock and they hold up to weather, wash-down and UV. The tag ID is printed in plain text underneath as a backup if the sticker is damaged.
- Does this replace our dispatch software?
- No. ProTag is the sticker and the equipment record. Requests show up in ProTag and can be emailed to your dispatch address, so they reach your existing office workflow.
- How do techs log in with gloves on?
- Techs do not type anything. They sign in with a passkey: their face, their fingerprint, or whatever already unlocks the phone. Every phone is tied to a named person.
