Snail Walk
A walking fitness game where you can lose, with a giant snail chasing your real daily steps
A mobile fitness game where your daily step count moves you forward on a shared path while a snail named Bob follows behind. Stop walking and he catches you.
About Snail Walk

Snail Walk is a walking survival fitness game built around one simple rule: you can lose. A giant snail named Bob follows you along a shared fantasy path, and your real daily step count is the only thing keeping him back. Your phone counts your steps using Apple Health or Health Connect, with no GPS or location tracking. Walk each day and you stay ahead of Bob; stop walking and the gap shrinks. If Bob reaches you, your character dies and leaves a tombstone on the shared path for other players to find. Everyone walks the same path, creating a multiplayer experience where you can see your progress against other players on a leaderboard. The game is available on iOS and Android with paid access, no ads, and no free tier.

Common questions
- Who is Bob?
- Bob is a large, calm snail who follows you down the shared path. He is not chasing you personally but is just going the same way. If he reaches you, you die.
- Does Snail Walk use GPS?
- No. Snail Walk only reads your daily step count from Apple Health on iPhone or Health Connect on Android, with no GPS, location tracking, or map of where you went.
- Does it work indoors or on a treadmill?
- Yes, steps are steps regardless of where you take them. Treadmill, hallway, pacing while on a call - Bob does not care where you take them, only that you take them.
- Is my health data shared with other players?
- No. Only your daily step total is used, and nothing else. GPS, location, or health details are never shared with other players.
- Is Snail Walk free?
- No. Snail Walk is a paid app with no ads and no free tier. Once purchased, adjusting how fast the snail moves is always free with no additional charges.
